Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 10, 2026. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Overview

Avtrz provides tools that help products display profile photos for business contacts. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use our website, dashboard, APIs, documentation, and related services.

Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information:

  • account information, such as name, email address, login details, and workspace membership;
  • billing information, such as plan details, payment status, invoices, and transaction identifiers;
  • product configuration, such as API keys, allowed domains, settings, and usage preferences;
  • usage information, such as API activity, request metadata, device data, logs, and diagnostics;
  • profile inputs you submit, such as LinkedIn usernames or profile URLs used to find profile photos;
  • communications, such as support messages and feedback.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • provide, operate, secure, and improve Avtrz;
  • authenticate users and manage accounts, workspaces, API keys, and domains;
  • find, validate, deliver, and improve profile photo results;
  • measure usage, enforce limits, prevent abuse, and debug issues;
  • process billing, send service notices, and respond to support requests;
  • comply with legal obligations and protect our rights, users, and the service.

MCP Connector (Claude & ChatGPT)

Avtrz offers an OAuth-secured remote MCP connector (avtrz.dev/mcp) that lets AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT call two read-only tools on your behalf after you authorize them. Both tools take a LinkedIn URL or username and return business profile data about the person looked up.

The get_profile_avatar tool returns the contact's avatar image (or generated initials art while enrichment is in progress).

The get_profile tool returns the following categories of personal information about the looked-up business contact:

  • name (first and last name);
  • professional headline and summary;
  • industry;
  • location (city, state, and/or country);
  • profile photo (the profile picture and its URL);
  • professional status signals such as open-to-work, premium, and verified flags.

These tools are read-only: they cannot write, delete, or change data, billing, or workspace settings. They do not expose secrets, API keys, or internal identifiers. Tool calls are authorized through OAuth, bound to the workspace you select at consent time, and counted against that workspace's quota. You can revoke the connection at any time from your dashboard.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We may use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, security, preferences, analytics, and service performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but some features may not work without them.

How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us run Avtrz, such as hosting, authentication, analytics, email, payments, logging, and customer support providers.

We may also share information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, to prevent abuse, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

Data Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce agreements. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and your account settings.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Choices

You may request access, correction, deletion, or export of personal information by contacting us. We may need to verify your identity before responding, and some requests may be limited by legal, security, or operational requirements.

International Use

Avtrz may process information in countries other than where you live. When we transfer information, we use safeguards appropriate to the type of information and applicable law.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, such as posting the updated policy on this page.
